In this short video, Dr. Curtis Westersund suggests making a small adjustment in how you determine occlusal contact that will make a big difference in its accuracy.
The adjustment has nothing to do with tools or technology: it’s as simple as asking your patient to sit up straight! Posture matters when taking a bite.
To obtain the most accurate measurement, Dr. Westersund recommends patients:
- Sit upright
- Uncross their legs
- Look straight ahead
