The soft splint is designed to reduce wear on dentition. The splint is designed to be 1.5mm thick. This soft layer makes this appliance extremely patient compliance-friendly. The splint does not come in a flat plan but is vacuum formed and shaped to the patient's dentition. Acrylic cannot be added.
