Guided Temps
With Guided Temps, clinicians can deliver provisional restorations at time of surgery with minimal effort. We offer two restorative options depending on the clinical situation and how much chairside work is needed.
Guided Temporary
Our guided temps are essentially shell temps with integrated “occlusal wings." The wings overlap onto 2 teeth on either side of the temp, resulting in stability will the dentist relines them. This technique assists the dentist in picking up titanium cylinders chairside, reducing time and inaccuracy. The Guided Temp can be requested for CBCT guided cases and non-guided cases.
Guided Temporary (w/ interface)
Don’t want to reline a shell temp? Press the "easy button:" request a Guided Temp with interface. From your CBCT data, we can create a surgical guide and deliver a screw-retained provisional with your guide. This provisional is inserted right after implant placement with minimal contact and occlusal adjustment. Please request on your prescription if engaging or non-engaging implant interface is preferred.
