After 40 years of providing dental services and products, Peterson Dental Laboratory becomes a Certified Dental Laboratory (CDL).
DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA: Today we announce our official accreditation by the National Board of Dental Laboratories (CDL). For over 40 years, we have desired to be an industry leader with a commitment to quality and professionalism. The CDL Certification ensures another focused step in the right direction.
The CDL is recognized by the National Association of Dental Laboratories (NADL), the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP).Tracie Jessie, CDT(Certified Dental Technician) and Ceramic Manager headed up the CDL certification over the past year. “Tracie is an instrumental part of our team; she gets the vision that we have and helps us move in a forward moving direction,” owner Mike Peterson says. Tracie’s efforts to secure the accreditation were assisted by Mary Borg-Bartlett from SafeLink Consultants, who guided the laboratory through a complex maze of standards and procedures.
Peterson Dental Laboratory has met strict standards of quality assurance, safety, business and manufacturing practices to move the company further in its 40 year maturation. The company has focused this past year on process improvement and standardizing its removable prosthetic product lines.

The laboratory opened its doors in 1974. Peterson Dental Laboratory primarily focused its specialty in Crown & Bridge and Implants prosthetic. In the 1990’s, Mike expanded the laboratory’s portfolio to include CADCAM technology and complex implant removable prosthetics, where he patented the Titanium Bar System (TBS) process, still in daily production today. With the increased demand for quality implant removal prosthetics, Peterson Dental Laboratory has expanded its facility to include an Implant Removable Department dedicated to the “All on Four” provisional and final solutions. We have become a full service laboratory that employees more than 25 people with over a 100 years of certified technical training.
