Positions Available

This position is familiar with all occlusal schemes and removable restorative techniques (dentures, implant hybrids and Implant Bar overdenture) and including but not limited to set-ups, waxing, Ivobase processing, PMMA Try-in appliances, acrylic, and implants.

The Removable Department team is one of our company’s core teams. They are responsible for diagnostic set-ups prior to implant surgeries, diagnostic set-ups for full all fixed and removable appliances and final steps prior to restoration being delivered to the customer. Attention to detail, hard work, and the artistic talent of our team allows our products to stand out among our competitors. We are looking for an advanced technician skilled in all areas of the dental laboratory for this highly sought-after position in the CAD/CAM department. The CAD/CAM department team members are the hands that move the majority of our cases though the facility. Responsibilities include scanning and designing different types of restorations; abutments, implant bridges, full contour crowns, hybrids, screw-retained crowns, model builder, and implant studio. This demanding and fast-paced team is responsible for almost all restorations in our facility. Fast turnaround times and high-quality restorations are required in the CAD/CAM department processes, making this position both challenging and rewarding.

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in CAD/CAM software 3Shape (a plus), Exocad, Dental Wings, Surgical Guide planning
  • Understanding and experience of operation of milling machines.
  • Ability to work well with deadlines

  • Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification preferred but not required

Peterson Dental Laboratory is looking for a capable Model Technician to join our team! A successful candidate will be very attentive to detail and have some experience with Pindex, Artimax and Stratos articulators. This person will focus primarily on articulations and jump into other areas of production as the supervisor sees fit. He or she will report directly to the model department supervisor and work closely with the Laboratory Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Trimming and Pouring
  • Adjusting Fixed and Removable Cast
  • Plaster Mounting
  • Duplication (Hydrocolloid and Alginate)
  • Department Cleaning schedule.

Technical Skills Required:

  • 1+ years’ experience in model department or dental technology school completed

Peterson Dental Laboratory is looking for a capable dental assistant who has chairside experience. The person will assist the dentist with complex cases. This position will take clinical challenges and apply laboratory processes and material knowledge to achieve outstanding patient satisfaction.

A successful candidate with have fixed and removable experience, decisive communication skills both written and oral, clean driving record, and a pleasant chairside manner.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

This position will assist the dentist with screw-retained hybrids, full dentures, crowns and bridges, implant abutment and implant screw-retained crowns. Custom shading and custom staining are other services that will be provided.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Ability to make chairside temps
  • Ability to contour crowns prior to cementation
  • Ability to contour and glaze zirconia crowns
  • Ability to utilize Vita 3D Master and other guides to color map anterior restorations
  • Ability to identify main implant manufactures implant systems, platforms connections and platform diameter.
  • Denture set-up experience

Clinical Skills Required

  • Able to assess a situation chairside and determine what the lab will need to adjust or correct case
  • Understands how to adjust or add to occlusal record device (occlusal rim)
  • Ability to describe and perform different bite capturing techniques
  • Ability to communicate to a patient to access esthetic and functional outcomes.
  • Understanding of clinical terminology

At Peterson Dental, our Customer Care Associates are the face of our company. They are the main point of contact for the customer. They are responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with accounts, assisting with case management and providing a clear path of communication to the lab technicians.

For this full-time position, we are seeking someone knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry but not limited to direct clinical patient care, sterilization, front office scheduling, lab coordinating, restorative lab products, dental implants and shade taking.

Responsibilities:

Coordinating and scheduling chairside services

  • Inbound and outbound calls regarding case details
  • Assisting case schedulers when high volumes of cases arrive
  • Dispute resolution (receiving customer complaints and resolving challenges)
  • Pre-scheduling Rush Cases
  • Assisting customers with application of PDL products, fees and turnaround times
  • Assisting Executive Team

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented, outgoing, self-motivated and team focused
  • 2+ years’ experience in clinical office

The Intake Specialist is a person with great attention to detail. This position will receive all incoming cases to the facility. During this process, each case will be entered into our operating system, photographed, tagged, and disinfected. This process ensures intake accuracy and ensures safety of our entire team.

We take pride in our company name that has been established for over 40 years. This is a vital position due to the attention to detail required to ensure safety. Peterson Dental Laboratory is looking for a capable ceramist who has experience with full arch rehabilitation cases to join our ceramic team. A successful candidate will have experience in removable prosthetics, composite restorations and all types of fixed ceramics. This person will focus on full arch rehabilitation as well as anterior esthetic and cosmetic cases. This new position will also be a team member involved in ordering supplies, contouring and layering other ceramic restorations, etc.

He or she will report directly to the ceramic supervisor and work closely with other management member.

Job Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:

Contouring and glazing monolithic restorations, layering ceramic restorations on zirconia, metal and lithium disilicate, calls with clients and ordering supplies.

Technical Skills Required:

  • 10+ years ceramic building experience
  • Experienced with Ivoclar, Vita, and GC ceramics
  • Experience in setting up full arch ceramics and complete dentures
  • Capable of envisioning completed ceramic case before starting the ceramic build up
  • An advanced understanding of tooth morphology
  • Basic understanding of tissue morphology
  • Communicate technically with clients to make sure cases meet RX requirements

Advanced Skills (preferred but not required): 

  • Experience with screw-retained full arch zirconia hybrids including green state contouring and coloring
  • Experience with screw-retained full arch zirconia hybrids ceramic layering including pink tissue
  • Understands how to use the adjustable Stratos articulator
  • Understands how to use the Stratos articulator set up template and other features of the articulator
  • Is capable and knowledgeable of setting-up denture teeth in different functional arrangements

Job Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ experience in dental laboratory required
  • Experience in ceramics and removable required
  • Certified technician (CDT preferred but not required)
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to and develop and maintain successful working relationships internally and externally
  • The ability to make important decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targets and tight deadline
  • Available to work Monday through Friday
